The knowledge that Air Pollution severely and negatively affects the developing child, and especially their lung function, makes the sustainable bubl technology a necessity for baby strollers, prams, and bike trailers. We offer to integrate the Bubl technology into your canopy with minimum influence on function, design, and foldability. Alternatively, we offer to create a separate air purifier accessory designed to fit like a glove to the canopies of your choice. Our stand-alone product babybubl serves as a template.
Moreover, our technology comes with an app, that informs about the levels of air pollution outdoors as well as of the air purification in the stroller. You may license the technology from us and create your own app or let us handle that part for you. For more information about the bubl technology, visit our “Technology” page.
The first step is to conduct a feasibility study on your product of choice, with a lead time of 1 month. After having evaluated the recommended ways forward it’s time to agree on a project plan. Bubl is an agile and sustainable company with the belief that we can take you from prototype to commercial product in 1 year. Feasibility study
We recommend starting off by giving us the assignment to conduct a Feasibility Study.
The Feasibility Study starts with a kick-off meeting where we go through expectations, research criteria, scope of project, milestones, meeting schedule and timeplan.
The main purpose of the study is to analyze and test how bubl technology best gets implemented with minimum impact on design, function, and foldability of your product.
The Feasibility Study include the following main elements:
- Thorough examination and measurements for recommended placements of bubl technology
- Airflow visualization
- Air purification testing
- Final report including complete data sheet, results, and conclusion, as well as recommendations on how to optimize function versus agreed project specificaiton.
- Presentation of report and findings including recommendations of placement of the bubl technology.
The lead time for this study is 1 month from the kick-off meeting and with your product at the bubl premises.
The objective of the report is to provide information in sufficient technical detail for a decision to initiate a development project.

Development project
We assist your product team and development team throughout the entire process of bringing your new product with bubl technology inside from Feasibility Study to prototype and commercial launch. Our patented and revolutionary air purification technology is implemented in two ways:
Whether it’s an Integration project, with the objective to create a canopy with bubl technology inside, or an Accessory project where our product babybubl serves as a template, we are committed to provide our expertise throughout the project.
We have assisted Thule throughout their Integration project to bring the Thule Shine Air Purifier Canopy from prototype to commercially launched product in one year, see pictures below.
An alternative way to market would be to create an accessory for your existing and new models. The shortest time to market is to use the babybubl as a template with your own fabrics, as the babybubl is already certified in major markets.
Our bubl team can support you with the following throughout the project:
–Conceptualization – Present different concepts with clearly defined pros and cons.
–Prototyping – To produce prototypes related to different concepts, adjustments etc.
–3D-printing – We use 3D-printing as an important tool in our development to be able to do real-life testing etc.
–Inhouse testing – We have extensive experience in air quality testing with results consistent with tests performed at certified third-party testing institutes. By using our in-house testing capabilities you will save both time and money during the project, and be certain to have a proof-of-concept before going to that third-party institute for verification.
–Facilitate third-party testing – Of course, you want to have that third-party testing and stamp on your final product. We have been working with eg. the Research Institutes of Sweden, and can help to set up a round of testing to validate your product and get you that coveted stamp of approval.
–Knowledge support – Supporting eg your sales force, development team etc to get a deeper understanding of the technology, air pollution, health effects, as well as market insights. Our founder, with a background as a physician, has been submerged in the field of air pollution for almost a decade and possesses substantial knowledge regarding air pollution and health effects. Not to mention knowledge about the bubl technology.
– Certification – Through our partners, we can also assist in the certification process for different markets.
Connect to your customers
Together with the air purification technology, we have also developed a companion app to the babybubl, and a complete infrastructure behind it.
By being connected, it allows you to communicate directly with your customers and get valuable information.
It’s possible to license different parts of this system from us. From only the SDK integrated into your own app, or as a more complete integration where you use the complete setup but create your own UX, with your own brand.
The SDK is needed for you to be able to connect to the air purification unit, and will allow the user to both get information regarding air quality and temperature, both inside of the stroller and outside, as well as notifications on when it’s time to change filters etc. It will also allow the user to control the air purifying unit with their phone.
Getting you set up and connected to this system will also be part of the development project, and we will help you through this part as well.
The license fee will guarantee functionality, making sure it complies with necessary regulations, as well as managing updates and bug fixes.
Thule Shine Air Purifier Canopy project
A prototype of the Thule Shine Air Purifier Canopy was displayed at the Kind und Jugend Fair in Cologne in September 2022.
One year later, at the Kind und Jugend Fair in Cologne in September 2023, visitors could experience the commercially launched Air Purifier Canopy product.
