Reduce exposure
Not only are children more sensitive, but they’re also exposed to higher levels of air pollution than adults.
When in a stroller or a pram they’re actually closer to one of the major sources of air pollution in cities, namely exhaust from traffic. Some studies have highlighted this problem and have been able to show that a child, when in a stroller or a pram, can actually be exposed to 60% more air pollution than the parent pushing the stroller.

Air Quality Index
The Air Quality Index is a scale to help visualize the quality of the air. The Air Quality Index is based on five “criteria pollutants”, namely:
– Particulate Matter (PM10 and PM2.5)
– Ozone
– Nitrous Oxides
– Carbon Monoxide
– Sulphur Dioxide.
The higher the number of the AQI, the worse the quality of air is. The “criteria pollutants” by themselves work on a scale on how harmful a particular concentration of them are, which correlates to a level on the AQI scale, as well to health recommendations.

Why we’re here
Hello, I’m bubl’s founder, Conny Karlsson. I am a father, physician, and inventor. 10 years ago, I visited some friends in Stockholm with my newborn son. When we were out walking on one of the busier streets in central Stockholm, I reacted to the bad air.
I became greatly concerned about air pollution and how it affects our children’s development. Since that day, I have been working on how we can reduce the exposure of air pollution to young children, a period in the children’s life when they are at their most vulnerable to respiratory diseases like asthma, and how that affects their quality of life, and help the world clean the air we all breathe.
With my team, we have created babybubl. We’re helping you and your baby breathe easier.

Our founder, Conny, is a father, innovator and physician. After studying the impact of pollution on children’s respiratory systems, he set out to make a change by developing a solution for parents everywhere.
Most of today’s air purifiers aren’t portable and can’t be used in a pram or stroller. They’re also noisy and use a jet stream to push out air. babybubl is adaptable and distributes clean air gently, so can be used on the go without disturbing your baby’s sleep. Babybubl has been developed specifically to clean the exact air your baby is breathing, so they’re safe and sound, at home, or out and about with you in their pram.
